Croatia, one of the most successful European teams, will participate in the Albert Schweitzer Tournament for the 6th time. A lot of top results in European and in World championships are faced with average results at the AST. The best result so far at the AST was the 4th place at AST 2006. Further results: 1993 7th place, 1996 11th place; 1998 9th place; 2000 10th place..
Completely different to read is the outcome of success of the Croatian U18 national teams in Europe: two times European Champion and three times European Vice Champion, this balance could not have been much better. At EC 2006 Croatia came in 10 the place, at EC 2007 in 7th place. At World championships teams from Croatia played one´s trumps too: highlight was the winning of the bronze medal at the World championship in 1993, but the 4th places in 1995 and in 2003 were big successes too.
